Her songs are already a hit on YouTube, but now 16-year-old singer Kim Petras has arrived in the UK to launch her pop career – and has revealed she was born a male.
Kim, who was named ‘Tim’ at birth, is thought to be the youngest person in the world to have had gender reassignment surgery.
Petras told The Sun newspaper that she insisted on being called a girl, even at the age of two: “There wasn’t ever a moment when I decided not to be a boy any more. I was just always a girl.”
