Aurora, Colo. A man who wants a sex change is suing King Soopers.
He lives life as a woman named Kim Dowers.
Downers claims she wasn’t allowed to use the woman’s restroom at work. So, she was forced to transfer to a store in Aurora where there’s a unisex restroom.
She used to work as a pharmacist at a King Soopers in Denver.
Dower said she’s being discriminated against because she’s transgender. She sued once when King Soopers wouldn’t allow her to dress as a woman and she won.
“We have received the lawsuit and it’s now in the hands of our lawyers and we will respond through the appropriate legal channels,” King Soopers company leaders said in an issued statement.
