Lipstick Conspiracy, the all-transgender rock band from San Francisco, is finally ready to continue its national tour, and the band?s fans couldn?t be happier. The band took a break from the road earlier this summer to give its new drummer, Natalie Yeh, a chance to get comfortable. Band members and audiences alike are delighted that Lipstick Conspiracy is, again, a five-piece band ready to hit college campuses this fall as the tour heads east.
Formed in Feb. 2003 by Sarafino Maraschino (vocals, guitar) and Tori Tait (vocals and keyboards), Lipstick Conspiracy also includes Shawna Love (vocals, guitar and bass), Marilyn Mitchell (vocals, guitar and bass), and new drummer Yeh.
?Suffice to say that a little misunderstanding among friends brought out the fact that we were musicians,? Maraschino says of the now illustrious band?s formation.
