Tammy Felbaum is accused of mailing a threatening letter to an assistant DA and spitting on a trooper.

A transsexual convicted in 2001 of killing her husband by castrating him in a crude operation is facing new charges for reportedly mailing a threatening letter to a Butler County assistant district attorney and spitting on a state police trooper.

Tammy Felbaum, 48, formerly of Harrisville, was being transported from a state correctional facility in Cambridge Springs on Thursday, Sept. 21, for a preliminary arraignment when she spit on state police Trooper Dorothy Boyd in the parking lot of the Butler state police barracks, according to a police report.

Felbaum was being taken to the barracks for her arraignment on charges of retaliation against witnesses and terroristic threats after she allegedly mailed a threatening letter to assistant district attorney B.T. Fullerton.
