Organisers of a group of transvestites at the centre of controversy have pledged to continue their meetings in a village hall.
Fabuliss was scheduled to go ahead with its planned meeting last night (Wednesday), declaring it would ‘weather the storm’ which broke over an article in the Daily Mail about its social events at the Millennium Hall at Liphook.
Its website said no problems were envisaged with ‘nosey parkers’ or ‘curious members of the local community’, but it had been in contact with the police and local Street Watch volunteers.
