Good help is often hard to find these days, especially for Wayne State’s Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Alliance student organization.
On Monday, the GLBTA held its weekly meeting in the Student Center to discuss, among other things, how to get more students to volunteer for its services.
“The number of volunteers has been steady,” said Philip McDonald, the group’s president. “[But] there is a significant turnover rate due to graduation, which is why we’re always in need of volunteers.”
