Since 2007, the Portland Queer Documentary Film Fest (QDoc) has been screening LGBT documentaries with a rainbow of subjects. According to fest organizers, this year’s collection “features strong themes of drag, music, history, and politics – often within the same film.” Plus, here can you see Kathleen Hanna dancing right after John Waters’ William S. Burroughs ruminations.
Thursday’s fest opener, Forever’s Gonna Start Tonight, is about Vicki Marlane, a female-impersonating pioneer.
