Pam Bennett Running For City Council Seat
Aurora, Colo. – The upcoming city election in Aurora is already shaping up to be extremely unusual with the city’s first openly transgender candidate.
Pam Bennett was born Bruce Bennett in the 1950’s. Now, she wants to be a city councilwoman.
“There’s no reason to run away from it. There’s no reason to promote it. It’s part of me, ” Bennett said.

Bennett says she always knew was transgender, even though she has two kids and is still married to a woman.
