DENVER ? An industrial testing company has settled a case of alleged discrimination against a worker who claimed she was fired while preparing to undergo sex-change surgery, her attorneys said Tuesday.
Danielle Cornwell, 54, had said she would not seek to return to work at Intermountain Testing Co., but her attorney Mari Newman said the situation has changed, and Cornwell is looking forward to getting her job back.
“All I’ve ever wanted to do was my job,” Cornwell said “I’m looking forward to returning to work at ITC and putting this behind me.”
