Transcendence is set to battle prejudice and discrimination this week, along with increasing awareness of the oppression faced by transgender individuals.
The 4th annual Transgender Awareness Days, held today through Friday on campus, will give students and faculty a chance to learn about the University’s transgender community and their struggles.
There are several goals Transcendence, which provides a supportive and a friendly environment for the transgender community, has set for this week.
