Tel Aviv – Israel – Amina Winer House is the next Israeli hope for the Eurovision song contest. He was spotted in Eilat with his husband and wants to follow in the footsteps of the 1998 winner Dana International.
Since the Eurovision song contest in 1998 there has not been a peek from the Israeli contingent.
Dana International, who won the contest, was hailed as a snub to the country’s ultra-Orthodox Jews and was a huge coup for Israel.
Amina Winer House is now the next big hope for the Israeli contingent and was chosen out of 30,000 hopefuls in a TV vote on Monday.
Amina was born Mosher Baron Cohen in Tel Aviv, and came out as a transexual at the age of 16, according to his official biography.
