It’s not the opening-night film nor the closing-night film. It doesn’t feature a special honoree or bestow an award. But Saturday night’s “spooktacular” world premiere of Joshua Grannell’s severed-tongue-in-cheek flick “All About Evil” might go down as the most rollicking screening at the 53rd San Francisco International Film Festival.
“A ‘spooktacular’ is what I’m calling it,” Grannell said over coffee. “A Peaches Christ preshow, with drag queens, local performers – and cast members Mink Stole and Thomas Dekker are performing. Natasha Lyonne will do the Q&A.”
