To say that Damon Dering has big shoes to fill in The Rocky Horror Show is, well, kind of missing the point.
It wasn’t just Tim Curry’s high heels that made him memorable as mad scientist Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the late-night movie version from 1975. It was the fishnet stockings, bustier and everything else about the “sweet transvestite from Transsexual, Transylvania.” And, not to put too fine a point on it, none of those things is exactly too big for Dering.
