Vena is one of the most recognizable names amongst Fetish Model to Event Promoter crossovers.
As a model, Vena is best known in fetish and other niche arenas of fashion, though she has also appeared in catalogs and large scale fashion shows for “mainstream” designers and audiences. Perhaps the single most exotic element that separates Vena from other models of such genres is that she is transgender. Vena launched her career by gaining a large market following as the cover model for the transgender oriented Glamour Boutique LA, and continues to be a leading role model for the transgender community. She has also modeled in fashion shows for couture artwear designer and former Marilyn Manson band member Gidget Gein, as well as casual wear designer Icon Clothing. Vena continues to gain notoriety modeling for UK latex designers Pretty Pervy, fetish wear designer Xochitl, and as the event spokes model and catalog model for online boutique HilarysPartys.com. The lists of photographers who have photographed Vena include: Perry Gallagher, Michael Helms, Gerry Koehler, and many more.
Vena’s performances have ranged from fetish themed clubs to large scale events from Los Angeles to Detroit, and have included Cage Dancing (Go Go Dancing) to live rope suspensions and needle piercings. In 2006, Vena was also a resident go go dancer at Club Hell in Hollywood, CA. Michigan based Chaos Productions signed to represent Vena in 2007 where she has since performed at Detroit’s Mephistos and the Dirty Show. Vena has also been the subject of many magazine interviews and articles.
In 2006, Vena became an active member of the Bondage Ball event promotional group in Los Angeles. In addition to the highly successful Bondage Ball events held several times yearly, they also are known for other events such as Kink!, Sexopolis, and the weekly clubs Sanctuary Hollywood and Fetish Disco, the latter of which Vena was largely responsible for. Today, Vena continues to promote events for the Bondage Ball group in Los Angeles, as well as with Chaos Productions in Michigan. In early 2007, Vena successfully completed a stint of performing at 10 events or projects in a period of 21 days which included two cross country flights, making her one of the busiest Model/Performer/Promoters in the business.
