The seventh annual One in Ten Film Festival will bring what organizer Tom Koerber said is much needed attention to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) issues at Penn State.
The festival, which features gay-themed films, begins today and runs through April 16. Its name comes from the fact that about one in every 10 Americans is part of the LGBT community, Koerber (graduate-biochemistry and molecular biology) said. He added because the group is a minority, its voice needs to be heard.
