Labuan man nearly loses handphone to Pondan

A Labuan man nearly lost his Nokia 7610 handphone to a pondan (transvestite) here on Monday.

The 29-year-old hair salon owner said he stopped his car in front of the court building to make a phone call after watching a movie at 9pm when the pondan got inside his vehicle uninvited.

“He (the pondan) asked me whether I wanted any service and I told him no. He then started to touch and hug me. Enraged by his actions, I ordered him out of my car.

“After driving off for about 100 metres, I discovered that my handphone (bought for RM2,000 but now priced at about RM900) placed on the dashboard was missing and immediately suspected the pondan had taken it,” said the man, adding he decided to search for the pondan in the city.
